Join us on October 27th at 5:30 pm for our annual Halloween event!  We'll have a costume parade, potluck dinner, and pumpkin carving!  *If possible, please bring a dish to share, and your own pumpkin to guarantee that everyone can participate*

Please join us for our worship series on what it means to be the Church!  We'll be focusing on how we can live as the Church together through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness.

Wednesday "Live Out Loud" (LOL) starts with a meal at 6:00 pm, followed by a worship services geared towards children/youth at 6:30 pm.  Around 7:00 pm, we move into our learning centers for students of all ages!

If you are new to the Hartford area or do not have a church home, we would love to have you be a part of the Body of Christ here at Hartford United Methodist Church!  We strive to love God and Neighbor, taking the hope of Jesus Christ into the world.

WHAT DO WE TEACH?

We use God's inspired Word as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. It is our desire to put those teachings into practice at home and at work. 

WHAT ARE OUR CORE VALUES?

When Jesus was asked which commandment was the most important he said loving God and loving neighbor.  This is the foundation of all of our ministries.  

WHO IS OUR PASTOR?

Pastor Seth LaBounty joined the Hartford community in July of 2019.  He first became a pastor in the United Methodist Church in 2015, and has served congregations in Wisconsin and South Dakota.

Our mission as Hartford United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and teaching.  As a local expression of the global United Methodist denomination, our mission also includes making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

A Global Denomination

Hartford United Methodist Church is a part of the global Christian denomination known as the United Methodist Church.  We are also part of a network of United Methodist Churches throughout North and South Dakota known as the Dakotas Conference.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of the United Methodist Church is: "To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."  As a local expression of the United Methodist Church, Hartford UMC is committed to this mission as well.
