“For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.” These lines from the Song of Simeon speak to the season of Epiphany, of the light of Christ for all the world. Seeing Jesus born in Bethlehem, dedicated at the Temple, and baptized in the River Jordan, it’s easy to focus on his life as a first-century Jew. But the audacity of the Gospel is that the light shining in Jesus shone far beyond Israel to illuminate the whole world. Through the Gospel readings of this season, we see how the light of Christ reached outsiders from the beginning and continued to grow, lighting the dark places throughout our world and in our own hearts.
Our Saturday evening service meets in our fellowship hall and is a very informal gathering.
This service meets in our sanctuary, and is typically an hour long. Dress code ranges from shorts and T-shirts to the Sunday best.
Every 3rd Sunday of the month we feature a Contemporary style to our worship, using songs that you might hear on the radio (such as KLOVE or Life 96.5).
We offer a variety of Sunday School classes for kids, youth, and adults! If you have been attending classes your whole life, or are just starting to learn, we have a class for you!
Because weeknights can be busy, our Wild Wednesday program starts with a free meal at 6:00 pm, with classes from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. During that time, we will share in study groups for PreK through High School!
