Uncommon Wisdom

We’ve titled this worship series “Uncommon Wisdom” because we feel that the scripture lessons from the Wisdom Literature invite us to a less popular and underappreciated way of using scripture to look at the world around us. In a society whose only real success strategies appear to be exploitation, violence, and smear campaigns, these verses will show us another path to the good life. These passages might comfort or challenge us in strange ways that we haven’t necessarily come to expect from biblical texts. We hope you will put in the extra work to understand these texts and challenge yourself and your hearers to let them speak truth to the realities of today.

Our Saturday evening service meets in our fellowship hall and is a very informal gathering.

This service meets in our sanctuary, and is typically an hour long. Dress code ranges from shorts and T-shirts to the Sunday best.

Sunday School at 10:35 am (during the school year)

Every 3rd Sunday of the month we feature a Contemporary style to our worship, using songs that you might hear on the radio (such as KLOVE or Life 96.5).

We offer a variety of Sunday School classes for kids, youth, and adults! If you have been attending classes your whole life, or are just starting to learn, we have a class for you!

Wild Wednesday 6:00 pm (during the school year)

Because weeknights can be busy, our Wild Wednesday program starts with a free meal at 6:00 pm, with classes from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. During that time, we will share in study groups for PreK through High School!
